| Company Comander et al,
I would like to commend the following people for coming out and marching in the Bunker Hill Day Parade: CWO B. Barber WAC K. Barber S/Sgt Mazzuchelli Cpl. Marchado T/5 Morrow Pfc. Adamsky Pfc. Buckholtz D. Pfc. Carbone Pfc. Violante Pvt. Howland Navy Wave Kuebler The day opened cool and damp. The men started to arrive at the formation site approx. 1000 hrs. Bill Durette informed us the tank would not be available for the parade. However the DUKW and Halftrack would be there. At 1200 hrs all formed up for the parade on 5th st and marched to start of the parade. At 1245 the parade officially started for us. Though slow going all completed the parade route at approx. 1440 hrs. The weather held off for the entire time and no one got wet. This was a good thing as I hate to wear rain gear. Along the route some blank firing was permitted to the delight of the crowd. Just prior to the reviewing stand the men were formed into column of twos at the right shoulder arms. Eyes left and a hand salute was presented by me at the stand. At the conclusion of the parade several availed themselves of the food offered at the Legion hall. Respectfully submitted, Lt. Carl Kersting, 1st Plt. B Co. 104th IR. 26YD |
